The Challenge
• Finding a facility that not only accommodated their growing congregation but also provided sufficient children’s and administrative space in a prime location.
The Solution
Steve Siebert Architecture embarked on an extensive search, evaluating multiple potential sites and providing detailed pro/con reports for each.
Many locations were declined due to factors such as low ceilings, insufficient parking, or the cost of expensive remodels. However, when the former Office Max building was discovered, it checked many crucial boxes, from high visibility on Orange Blossom Trail to a prime spot on the loop road near the Florida Mall.
Our team skillfully transformed the space, creatively fitting seating for 500 in worship while incorporating the necessary children’s and administrative areas within the building’s tight constraints.
The Results
The result speaks for itself—Alive Church now boasts high ceilings, abundant natural light, and a contemporary design that enhances the worship experience. Thanks to this transformation, Alive Church has been recognized as one of Outreach Magazine’s top 100 fastest-growing churches for the past several years, proving the success of the project in both form and function.
